Important: How the “Pause” (Suspension) Works
When you choose to pause your trade license instead of canceling it, you must specify a return date. In the Czechia, you can pause your business for any duration, from a few months to several decades. Many of our clients choose to pause until 31. December 2099, to ensure the license stays inactive indefinitely.
Warning: If you set a specific date (e.g., 2 years), your trade license will automatically reactivate on that day. Once reactivated, your duty to pay monthly social and health insurance starts again immediately, even if you aren’t working.
