Student Visa Extension Czech Republic

Professional Assistance & OAMP Support

Secure your future in Czechia without the bureaucratic stress. We handle the paperwork; you focus on your degree.

Navigating the Ministry of the Interior (OAMP) can be the most stressful part of your studies. One small error on your “Green Form” or an outdated bank statement can lead to delays, rejections, or even the loss of your legal status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stay in the Czech Republic if my visa expires while waiting for the extension?

Yes. As long as we submit your application before your current visa expires, your stay remains legal. This is called “fiction of residence.” If you need to travel home or outside the CZ during this waiting period, we will arrange a Bridging Visa (Překlenovací štítek) for you as part of our service.

What happens if I miss a document on the day of my appointment?

If you go alone, the officer might be strict. With our service, we ensure your file is 100% complete. However, if a document (like a university confirmation) is delayed, we provide a Legal Cover Letter to the Ministry. This allows us to submit the application “as is” to meet the deadline, buying us extra time to deliver the missing paper later without risking a rejection.

Do I really need an assistant to go with me to the Ministry (OAMP)?

While not legally required, it is highly recommended. Many OAMP officers do not speak English, and the environment can be intimidating. Having our expert by your side ensures that communication is clear, your rights are protected, and any “surprise” questions from the officer are handled instantly in Czech.

Can you help if I live in a private flat and not a dormitory?

Absolutely. Private lease agreements are often scrutinized more closely than dormitory confirmations. We will review your lease to ensure it meets the Ministry’s specific legal requirements and, if necessary, communicate with your landlord to get the correct “Proof of Accommodation” form signed and notarized.
